Is there something strange happening between Battlestar Galactica and the new X-files Movie X-Files: I Want to Believe and the X-files series as a whole. Are these things just coincidence, or something more sinister, you be the judge.

Leoben Conoy has resurrected in the X-Files movie and has the same menacing look as he usually does, but the clincher comes in the form of the goo bath! |
| Yes people, the hybrid goo bath looks like it makes an appearance in the X-Files movie too. |
X-files: I Want to Believe Goo Bath

 Battlestar Galactica Goo Bath |
| Wonder if the woman in that one will wake up mid operation – or whatever the hell they’re doing to her – and start quoting Nietzsche and baffling onlookers. |
But wait, there’s more!
The X-Files movie features a main protagonist (Adama.. err.. we mean Mulder) who has lost his faith and ‘wants to believe’ again. His sidekick is an auburn redhead (Roslin… err.. Scully) who was full of faith and then starts questioning her faith. Let’s not forget also that said couple kept us guessing as to any romantic involvement they may or may not eventually have and we swooned whenever they got closer to that point!! |
Scully had cancer and it was miraculously eradicated after she almost died. Scully also had a major crisis of faith that ran through the series in some form! |
Gees I really hope Adama isn’t abducted by aliens just as Roslin finds out she’s carrying his hybrid… we mean… baby. |
| Which by the way Mulder and Scully called William after Scully’s father Captain William ‘Bill’ Adama… err… Scully!! Coincidence, we think not!... oh okay…. Maybe. |
Laura Roslin also had an aid named Billy who she thought of like a son.
Dana Scully sometimes works in a laboraTORY!! (okay.. that one is a stretch). |
| Fox Mulder’s father’s name wasn’t Joseph, in an odd twist it was actually Bill – at least he believed that was his father, until the whole cigarette smoking man thing.. which reminds us…. |
You all realize what this means don’t you.. Doc Cottle…. Yeah people… he’s the cigarette smoking man, who on a side note was involved in ‘Hybridization Experiments’ when he was a young man! |
Donnelly Rhodes who plays Doc Cottle also appeared in the X-Files episode “Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man” and the tagline for the episode: “Mulder and Scully uncover what may be the true identity of the Cigarette Smoking Man.” [sic] …..and quite possibly the last cylon… but that information was swiftly whisked away by Skinner and hid in a giant government warehouse full of wooden crates.. some of which hum.... seriously we're not making this stuff up. [not so sic.. more.. sick].
On a final note... we actually think Leoben may be trying to infiltrate Earth's diagnostics arena.... what do you guys think.....
