    Do they really exist...

Geekdom covers many facets and one of them may well be an interest in the unknown. For this reason we’ve decided to post part of an email we received at LesbianGeek HQ from a woman who doesn’t wish to be named.

Oooh it’s all very clandestine isn’t it, and stranger still seems to hint at the fact she’d met someone some goth geeks might wish to meet. All will become clear in the first of our ‘I knew this woman’ series of posts.

Now if only someone would send us some Tru:Blood so we could check it out for ourselves....
    Full story after the jump....

I lived in Oxford some time ago and whilst there I knew this woman. I’d met her at the library where I was instantly captivated, not only by her looks, but more so her demeanor. Have you ever met someone that you thought seemed not of this earth… she was so kind and strangely made me feel as though there was no one else in the room when talking to me, direct eye contact, very charismatic and so smart and funny.

We became sort of fly by night friends. She had a finger in numerous charity organizations, one of which I volunteered at. She was also a Professor of English and antiquities, which was astounding given her apparent age (she looked around late 20’s). I can’t really put into words how cool this woman was… Lara... Lara Blue. Well now I think I know Lara Blue’s secret… how one could accrue such knowledge, hold such charisma.

Digging around a little since then I’ve come across numerous stories like mine from many and varied people. Strangely most have a philanthropic twist, do-gooders, charismatic people who are very well spoken and well off… and only ever outside in the evening or at night. I never once saw Lara Blue during the daylight hours.

Seems like something is afoot now and it’s terrifying and cool all at the same time. The people at BloodCopy.com have all the gossip on this emerging phenomenon.

I should have known really.. but who seriously believes such things are true, even when they are staring you in the face.

I hope she's not pissed you outed her 'dark side' by name on a public forum ;op

Kewl story though, I think I met someone from the same 'group' one time and she was so amazing.

Serious think about it, as far as lesbianism goes, these people have lived longer than us, for them it's like "whats the big f*cking deal" maybe we could learn a lesson or two from them.

That's a cool story and site, thanks for letting us know.

I think I met a vampire once as well. people that don't age when you don't see them for 10 years creep me to the bone.
