Cylon sex change - miniature fact!
Sex changing cylons, what the hell? I was at GenCon Oz yesterday - which on a sidenote was a waste of time, the images on their website are very misleading, it was tiny!! Not worth the entrance fee - anyways, I picked up a few of the Battlestar Galactica MiniMates I didn't have when one particular package caught my eye.
I include said package after the jump. I do believe it is proof that the MiniMates cylons can alter physical form and even gender. You read it first here folks.... imagery of wonder after the jumperoo, along with some Gencon complaints....
Here it is folks, read it and weep, that's not D'Anna Biers and Sharon there, no apparently it's Helo and Tyrol.. Who knew Helo had such large breasts or that Tyrol wore lippy and a wig.
This brings about all manner of interesting thoughts... like...
Tyrol is so up himself that even in drag he carries a picture of himself around (that's what the little frame is in the package - cute!.
Helo has man boobs bigger than Tyrol.
The thought of D'Anna and Sharon as lovers is far more appealing than Sharon and Tyrol, the thought of Helo and Tyrol as lovers... not so much.
GENCON OZ
'Con' being the appropriate word. What an absolute con! Clearly the images on their website are of some huge GenCon, probably in the US some place, they certainly aren't of the Brisbane GenCon which was lame beyond all things lame. A few little stalls of shops you can visit in Brisbane anyway, a couple from elsewhere in Australia offering much the same stuff as those local stores. Some 'game developer' stalls with people on them far more interested in talking to each other than conversing with the gaming peasants wandering around the three aisle crapfest.
Think very seriously before you purchase your tickets! Yes perhaps it's more busy over the weekend, but if that is the case, that is lame in itself because I paid the full ticket price yesterday, so perhaps they should let people know.
Last GenCon complaint...
Gary Gygax died this year and there was NOTHING about him at Gencon, not a frakkin mention, not a memorial board, not a flyer, not ANYTHING. This REALLY peeved me, the sheer thoughtlessness for the man that started GenCon in his basement back in the late 60's. Without Gary Gygax there would be NO GENCON! So where's the love... absolutely unforgivable and appalling... the organizers should be thoroughly ashamed, be it the Australian version or not, Gygax was the man... end of.
