Condiment Pistol - Gunning for sauce

We saw this and thought it was pretty cool. This is a condiment pistol, essentially a flashy / geeky version of a sauce and mustard holder. Hippy geeks don't like guns, but we like guns, so long as they not real. The worst this gun is going to do is stain your shirt.

If you like the condiment pistol you can purchase it from Firebox for 14.95 UKP (that's about $30 US / AUD). It's crafted in sturdy plastic and comes with two sauce cartridges that are easy to load. Full pics after the jump.

    Korea's first astronaut is female

You’re looking at Korea’s first astronaut Yi So-Yeon. We thought this was pretty cool, but Korea is not the first country to choose a woman as their first person “to boldy go”--the UK’s first astronaut was also a woman (Helen Sharman).

Yi was actually second choice for the flight, which will take off from Russia at the beginning of next month (all things going to schedule). Yi replaced another astronaut after he was found to have broken the rules of the Russian Federal Space Agency.

For those interested the first woman in space was Valentina Tereshkova, a Russian cosmonaut who went into space aboard Vostok 6, 16 June 1963. Isn’t it strange how most of us will know the male astronauts by name, put probably not these pioneering ladies.

    Factron Aluminum iPod Nano covers

These Factron aluminum jackets by Quattro look so nice we had to share. Problem being they're only available in Japan at the moment and the engraved ones are only available for a short period of time. Still they're sweet and geek and we thought would go great flung in any lesbians backpack.

Japanese artist Mizumori Ado has some drawings featured on the back covers and they're uber cute. The iPod covers are available in green, red, silver and gold and are made of a sturdy aluminum design. You can check out more at the official site HERE.

    Cool Female Action Figures

Action figures are a part of geek life. Who wants some crappy porcelain cat, frog or bunny sitting on their bookshelf, when they can have a cool female action hero or sci-fi babe. Yeah it’s rhetorical and apologies to any lesbians who do actually collect porcelain cats, frogs or other animals (each to their own of course).

After the jump you’ll see some of our picks for the coolest lesbian related action figures. They’re not lesbians per se, but they are cool none the less and would look good on any lesbian geeks shelf.

RPG Release info for the March period

Here we are with the first of our new regular posts. RPG releases will give you the lowdown on new release RPGs. These releases are European, but most tabletop RPG's release around the same time, so this info should let pretty much all readers know what's just hitting / recently hit their RPG store shelves.

This period we see the release of: The Trail of Cthulhu RPG a Gumshoe RPG by Pelgrane Pess--unsurprisingly based on the works of HP Lovecraft. Arsenal a Shadowrun Sourcebook featuring weapons, armor, gadgets and more. The Battlestar Galactica GM screen for the re-imagined Battlestar RPG and for miniature gamers (gamers who play with miniatures, not tiny wee gamers) there's Dungeon Tiles 7 a Dungeon & Dragons Accessory pack with game terrain tiles aplenty.

Joss Whedon's Dollhouse with Eliza Dushku

For some bizarre reason we thought we'd covered this news awhile ago, must have been some form of memory implantation, which is handy given the topic we're about to cover. Joss Whedon--yes he of Buffy / Angel fame is teaming up with Eliza Dushku--yes her of Faith in Buffy fame--for a new series called Dollhouse.

Dollhouse focuses on the idea of a sort of fantasy island scenario in which 'dolls' fulfill fantasies, but not just of the sexual kind. The dolls can "basically reenact scenarios of romance, adventure or anything perfectly, because they become the person that you want them to be—they become that person." says Whedon. Things start to go pear shaped however when Eliza's character who is a doll starts to remember things from her assignments. No word on when it will air, but we'll be watching when it does.

Racetrack and Seelix - BSG dream lesbians

Leah ‘Racetrack’ Cairns suggests her and Seelix might make a good couple in Battlestar Galactica. For those that don’t watch Battlestar Galactica, Diana Seelix is a woman, as is Leah’s character Margaret ‘Racetrack’ Edmondson, yes that’s right, some lesbian storyline. Obviously this will never happen as it’s just an actors idea and she does run through numerous male ideas before getting to Seelix, but it’s pretty cool she mentioned it anyway.

The interview is kind of weird because it’s very [VERY] long and is given by a mostly monotone / non enthusiastic interviewer (Marcel), but if you love BSG it’s worth a listen whilst you do something else because Leah sounds so cool-you'll love her. You can check it out HERE.

    Zombie Survival Kit

Wasn't sure if this was more gadget than horror, but we've stuck it in the horror section because zombies = horror. What we have here (picture after the jump) is a wall mounted Zombie Survival Kit, presently on eBay for a brain chomping $280 (at time of writing).

The seller states "If you're like any normal person, you probably live in constant paranoia of the impending "Z" war: the zombie uprising." The zombie uprising it seems can be dealt with by hanging a pretty cool framed shotgun and shotgun shells on your wall. We at LesbianGeek prefer hurling LP's, but if you haven't seen Shaun of the Dead, you won't get that joke. Full pic after the jump.

Britney Spears - Anime style in ice

Anime fans are either going to love or despise Britney Spears new video 'Break the Ice'. Britney becomes all Japanimated and takes on the role of an ass kicking anime styled female assassin type.

Perhaps Britney had little to do with it. Perhaps the director thought this was better than dealing with a flesh and blood Spears. Whatever the case may be, it got me to thinking that ole Britters probably wishes she could kick it Cynthia Rothrock style like she does in the vid, I know I'd volunteer to hold K-Fed in place whilst she showed him the sharp end of her boot.

    Here's the video.

    Wall-E trailer - Too cute!

Noooo save me from this cuteness!! I didn't like Pixar's movie The Incredibles, I didn't even see Cars because it did nothing for me. I had no interest in Wall-E and then I let this trailer dissolve my rock hard heart as though it were made of butter. Damn you Wall-E!

How can something that sounds like a Jawa, looks like ET and the Short Circuit robots love child make me want to hug it. It's pure evil! Anyways, on the off chance you're looking for a robot hug too, here's the trailer, but remember, you have been warned.
