Cool Female Action Figures

Action figures are a part of geek life. Who wants some crappy porcelain cat, frog or bunny sitting on their bookshelf, when they can have a cool female action hero or sci-fi babe. Yeah it’s rhetorical and apologies to any lesbians who do actually collect porcelain cats, frogs or other animals (each to their own of course).
After the jump you’ll see some of our picks for the coolest lesbian related action figures. They’re not lesbians per se, but they are cool none the less and would look good on any lesbian geeks shelf.

Cortana, yeah a gaming babe that you don’t actually get to play with (so to speak), but she’s pretty awesome in the Halo universe and big gay John Spartan would be lost without her.

Kate from LOST. Yeah remember when she was the sexy tomboy, when she could climb trees and kick ass. You know, before she became a fully fledged straight girl parody, tripping over in the jungle and leading the male heroes into trouble left, right and center. If you liked the original and best Kate, why not put her on your shelf.

Ahh Ro Laren, how we loved you in Star Trek: The Next Generation, you feisty little minx. Then you (by ‘you’ we mean actress Michelle Forbes) appeared in Battlestar Galactica as Admiral Helena Cain and you were gay.. yes we always knew it of Ro, despite her weird Ryker leanings.

Saber, we didn’t know who you were until today, but we were instantly struck by your uber dykey presence, at least in this particular plastic form. Further investigation seems to suggest Saber was King Uther Pendragon’s daughter, raised as a boy and became the ‘King’ of England. How cool, a drag king before anyone knew what a drag king was.

Well if it isn’t her from Firefly (River Tam), err.. Serenity.. err.. Sarah Connor Chronicles. We know she has a big lesbian following, we’re just not part of it, still we’re here for the masses so thought the omission of Summer Glau in action figure form would be a big no no, so here she is.

There’s nothing wrong with being a total fangirl when it’s justified and not to the detriment / pain of others. Battlestar Galactica is a bit of a passion here at LesbianGeek, we can’t help it for numerous reasons, two of which are Kara ‘Starbuck’ Thrace and Louanne ‘Kat’ Katraine. Here they are, looking cute and ready for your bookshelf.
You can find all of these action figures and more at Entertainment Earth.

Never knew there was a Ro Laren action figure. Was a huge fan of hers in star trek days.
May watch the new Battlestar series if she is in it.
Thanx
